Swimming Day

This summer has been really hard to go to the pool with two little ones. I have had Jesse in a tube. He has not enjoyed the pool because he can't really get around.
So I had to try out what a friend of mine told me her son just loved when he was younger for the pool. So I got him a swim float swimsuit and arm floaties. This was actually our second time going to the pool but he just loved the freedom and was so into swimming. He was even standing on the step that is under the waterfall and was counting 1,2,3 and jumping off. I thought the get-up also allowed him to learn to kick his feet and keep his head out of the water.

Here is Jordan he just loves his tube and little toy to play with. All happy!!

Update.....On my little Jordie!!

Jordan is just such a cute little man. He is growing up so quickly. I think faster than Jesse because he just wants to do everything that Jesse is doing and so he is on the go.
He has started to be interested in pulling up on things even though he hasn't even learned really how to crawl just yet. He still does the army crawl but he can move quick! He loves this toy to pull up on and then play with the buttons with his big brother.

Here is Jordan playing with my old hair things. Do you see he put the head band on his head. I love the picture I got with him with his finger by his mouth like "What's wrong mom I didn't do anything" :*)

Jesse LOVES books :*)

Here is Jesse reading two of his books. Goodnight Moon and Baby's 123. As most of you know I have been teaching Jesse sign language since about 4 months old. As he has gotten older I have been showing him new baby signing time movies and when I talk I reinforce the word with a sign. He has become very good at picking up new signs and using them.
So I recently caught him on tape willing to show off his great work.

Goodnight Book -
In the Goodnight moon video he is saying "Goodnight Moon" "Goodnight sky" "Goodnight mouse"

Baby's 123 -
He is identifying the pictures in the book. He says some and signs others. For example: dogs...he claps his leg. Hat...he pats his head. Apple...he uses his knuckle against his cheek.


I really feel he is so smart and picks up on things very quickly. I am very proud of his progress and I hope to catch him talking and signing more on tape so that I can share more of his WONDERFUL accomplishments.

Being Creative!! :*)LOL

Since we are stuck in the house most of the day. Jesse has to become creative with the toys he has in house. (like the slide I brought in...its our inside playground) I have to keep him entertained. So this is what he did today. Have any of your kids tried this?

Jordan is 8 months old!!

My little Jordan is 8 months old.
He is such a little lover and happy baby.
He is now 19lbs only 4 pounds less than Jesse.
Jesse might have to watch out for his little brother soon. :*)

- What Jordan is doing -
*He is still doing his army crawl

*Always getting up into a crawling position
*He can sit up from a laying position
*He is eating solids 3 times a day
*loves to grab at all the toys
*Is in love with Jesse and goes where ever he goes
*loves to smile and laugh

We are just so in LOVE with our little man that is doing something new each day.

In these videos you will see Jordan sit-up from his laying position. You will also see him watch Jesse going down the stairs. This is something he just loves for some reason. He will always laugh and get excited to see him go from step to step.
