Baby Signing Time

Here is Jesse watching his Baby Signing Time video. He loves them. It teaches him and us (Jason and I) different signs for specific items like food, people and other things. These videos will teach him to be able to express simple request and develop his lanaguage development.

Easter Fun

Our Church did an Easter egg hunt and craft time for the kids for Easter.
Jesse had fun getting eggs well sort of looking at them. :)

Dogs

We have two large Rotwhielers Bubba and Cali. Most people would be so afraid to have a baby around these kinds of dogs but, Jason and I trust them so much and they have always been good with kids. It is really neat to see Jesse watching and interacting with them. He laughs when he pets them or if they lick him.

Easter Eve

So Saturday night Anne and Marty said that they would watch Jesse for us for 3 hours so that Jason and I could go to dinner and shop for Jesse's Easter stuff. So I have been wanting to go to PF Chang's because I heard they were doing a two person dinner deal. I also love the lettece wraps. :*) After dinner we ran to Wal-Mart to pick something up for Jesse's basket. We decided on a toy that he can sort of grow into. It is for 6+months. When we left Wal-Mart we went over to the cemetary to take a couple things over to JT. (Card, Balloon, and a toy)
When we came to pick up Jesse Anne and Marty had put Jesse in this Broncos jersey. (Trying to make Jason upset) He had a big smile in this picture. (Above)

When we got home Jesse took a bath and played with his Ladybug washcloth and he went to bed.

Once Jesse was asleep Jason started working on putting together Jesse's little toy for Easter.(It actually had 4 screws) We were talking about this is what our life will be like for a long while. (Like before Christmas)

Jason finds the silliest things that makes Jesse laugh. Just wanted to share. (When I was recording he was screaming more than laughing but Jesse loves it!) :)

Jesse is 6 months old

Jesse is now six months old. He is getting SO big!!! He weighs 15.7 lbs. He is really long probably 26 inches. He is wearing 6 to 9 month clothes. We just have to make sure the pants are long enough for him because he is so long.

He is doing so many new things.

• Sitting up with out any assistance. We still have to stay right next to him just in case he falls over but he is doing really well.

• Grabbing his toes. He loves to get his left foot up right by his face and suck on it. Mostly while he eats in his bouncy.

• He is also grabbing anything else he can get his hands onto. (toys, items on a table, whatever is in reach)

• He talks up a storm. He can also scream really loud when he gets excited!! ☺

• He gets so excited and laughs hysterically. As you saw in the laughing at daddy video.

• His favorite toys are…….

o The saucer. He loves to spin around and play with every toy. His favorite item on the saucer is the steering wheel. (Oh…No…I am in trouble another Jason jr. who is in love with fast cars.)

o He likes a this V-Teach Move and Crawl ball that makes noise and rolls around.

o He is also loving his Johnny Jumper.

• He is following voices better and he is starting to respond to his name.

• He eats now two meals in the morning and evening. In the morning he does rice cereal or oatmeal and a fruit and at night he eats the cereal and a vegetable.
o He has eaten every First food that is orange or green. Squash, Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Peaches, Green Beans, Peas, Prunes, Applesauce, Bananas, Pears. I can’t think of the others.

• He is also content to lay on the floor and kick and talk to himself with some of his toys


Well, Jesse is becoming such a big boy and doing so many different things it is exciting to see what he will do next. However, I am sad that my little boy is really growing up really fast.
