Jesse is 16 weeks old (4 months)

Well Jesse has now been with us for 4 months. He has changed and grown so much. Jason and I have just loved and enjoyed watching all his new milestones unfold. We are so happy to have our time with our little man. He is a blessing and our gift from God.
Jesse can:

• He can roll over
• He is eating rice cereal and apples at night
  
• He laughs
• He smiles
• He interacts with toys

I did it!!!!!

Sunday I ran in the PF Changs half marathon. Yes that is 13.2 miles of running!!!! Oh my!!
I have been in a training group from my church since August. I just started running after I was cleared at 6 weeks postpartum. However, even then I really hadn't ran that much. I did finish the race though in 2 hours and 49 minutes.

Jesse and Amy met me at the finish line with this cute sign. 'Way to go MOMMY!!! We love you!' That was awesome to see when I finished.

Sarah and I the night before met to eat our big carb dinner. We looked through all of our race information and we put on these tattoos. We are ready to do this!!!

After, the race I was feeling pretty sore. So Amy talked me into doing an ice bath. It was really cold!! My legs however really needed it!!!

So I can now say that I have run in a half-marathon!!!!

Sunny Phoenix

Well, here is the Calhoun Family out hanging out in the backyard. We also went on a walk through the neighborhood on this great sunny day. Jesse was sporting his SOOOO CUTE blue sunglasses. Check out his face in the second photo. Who do you think he looks like?

Jesse is 14 weeks old

Jesse is 12 weeks old!!!

Jesse is now 12 weeks old. He is so active now. He loves to lie down on his back and just kick away and move his arms. He is also talking so much with us it is neat to see his personality coming out. I set up his kick and play for him the other night. He just loves it!!! He is starting to play with toys now. That will be good because he got quite a few for christmas. He is such a big boy and so much fun!!! Also, at his last appointment he was 12lbs 4oz and 23 1/2 inches long.

Out with 08' and in with *2009*!!!!

We had a great time on New Years Eve.

Well, first we went bowling with my family. We played two games. I didn't play very well but, Jason was really proud of himself because in the second game he beat everyone. (especially Amy, Scott and David they had a competition going on :). ) After, bowling we went to dinner with my parents. Then we went back to the house where we hung out with everyone and played cards. (a game called "Hand and Foot") Again, Jason was really happy because he beat Carolyn who is the Hand and Foot pro!! At mid-night I got a kiss from my hubby and my little Jesse. The night was really fun.

Jason and I are looking forward to a having a good and happy 2009!!!
