It's Christmas Time!!! :)

Our Christmas in Salt Lake was wonderful.
After, our Christmas Eve dinner at my parents house we came home and opened our christmas pj's that we would wear on Christmas Day.
Jesse woke up to find that Santa and his reindeer ate the cookies, apples and carrots we left him. We opened presents with Amy and David and the boys by the fire while it snowed outside. Amy had made Jason and I a picture album of all of J.T's pictures. It was nice to remember him and have him with us! (Thanks Amy!!) We then went over to my parents house and opened presents with my entire family. After, presents David and my Dad made breakfast for everyone.
Our first Christmas with Jesse was very memorable and special!! To be with my family meant so much to me because of the year we have had. I really was excited to spend it with my mom and Jason and have a reason to celebrate and smile this year.Santa and his reindeer were hungery
By the Fire
All of his presents. He was Johnny Jumping while we all opened our gifts.
All bundled up and ready to go outside.
A White Christmas with our new little man. How FUN!!!

While in Salt Lake City

Jesse and I flew up to Salt Lake on the 20th to spend Christmas and New Years with my family this year. Jesse did really well again on the airplane. We have been having a great time with my family getting ready for Christmas. Amy and I did some last minute shopping.
My other sister Alli brought over this Johnny Jumper for Jesse to play with. He really likes it. He was using his legs to push himself around.

We used his Christmas hat and gloves here in Salt Lake because it has been around 25 to 30 degrees here. (It has come in handy!! :) ) Amy's friend made this other hat for him it is bengal colors and really cute on him.

We have been staying with Amy and David. The boys have been a big help with Jesse keeping him entertained or feeding him a bottle. We are having a Wonderful time up here!!!

We took Jesse to visit Santa. He woke up just in time to see him

and take some really cute pictures. His eyes were wide open. Jesse is so CUTE!!!

Jesse was dedicated to the Lord on Sunday. Our pastor Monty had Jason and I commit to bringing up our son Jesse in the church. So that he can come to know the Lord and have a personal relationship with him.

I'm 8 weeks old

(His shirt says "I'm the little brother")
(I finally caught a big smile. Isn't he adorable!!!)

Jesse is 8 weeks old and cuter than ever. He is getting really big. He has grown out of his Newborn clothes. :( He is now fitting a lot better in his 3 months clothes. He is starting to get into some routines. He sleeps by himself in his bassinet for 4 to 6 hours straight. (This is wonderful) Jason and I are loving all the new things that he does everyday. We are just so blessed in having Jesse in our life.

"WHAT'S UP"
Jesse's aunt Nikki got him this cute army outfit. I had to take these pictures to tease Grandpa Calhoun because he doesn't like hats turned sideways. :)

Those Big Eyes

What a sweet baby!!!!

Thankful......

Thanksgiving 2008 (Ashley, Jesse, and Jason)

Thanksgiving 2007 (Ashley, JT, and Jason)

I wanted to write and tell everyone how thankful I am for all of my good friends and family who have been so supportive over this last year. Yesterday was quite hard because I was thinking about how blessed and thankful I was last year at this time. It was very hard for me to think that two weeks after thanksgiving my whole life would be adjusted permenatly.

Most you know that I was involved in a very serious car accident last year and our first son JT was taken from us due to the sevarity of the accident.

I have learned that life is very unpredictable and that you have to take in every moment to the fullest. I never imagined that this is how my life would be and that anything like this would happen to me. I have learned over this last year that all things happen for some reason (even though I don't understand).I am learning to cry with HOPE because I know that the LORD has great plans with everything and that I will see my Little JT again in heaven.
This year I am thankful for.......
***Our new little baby boy Jesse James Rollin.
***My mom being in remission. That she is able to celebrate with us this year. For her health.
***Jason and I doing well
Remember to be Thankful for all that you have everyday!!!!!!

Jesse is now 7 weeks old. He is growing and changing everyday. He has started to look at me and Jason and just talk and smile. It is really neat to interact with him. He is also sleeping by himself at night for 4 hour stretches. (This is really nice!!!) He is just so CUTE!!!!

I'm 6 weeks old

Jesse is officially 6weeks old. He is getting to look like such a big man. He has chunkie rolls on his legs and his cheeks are puffing out. Watch the video and you will see how wide eyed Jesse can be and all the cute expressions and noises he is making. This week I also met with Dr. Sawyer for my 6 week visit and I am all cleared for regular activities. This was good news because I am signed up to run (Maybe walk some.) in the PF Changs Half Marathon. I have to get training. =)

Jesse is a wonderful reminder for Jason and I of just how blessed we are. (A second chance)

(Jason put the sock on his head because it had fallen off. How silly!)

Live moments of Jesse at 5 weeks old

I love that I can do videos on my camera. I think that it is neat to capture real moments of Jesse being a 5 week old. He makes noises, plays with his hands and tongue, and smiles. I love watching all his special moments of life. (the videos are for my family in SLC. Hope you enjoy!)

love you, Ashley =)

playing in his bouncer

Cousins

Jesse met all of his cousins in Salt Lake. They all think he is so cute and wanted to hold and play with him. They each took turns holding him. When Reagan first saw him she was very curious as to what was in the carseat. It was really cute because she started rocking his carseat. Reagan is a reminder to me of what I would of had and how JT might of reacted to a new little baby brother. She will always be a happy reminder of what JT would of been doing. (All bitter sweet)
